Curtis Daley

Curtis Daley
Operations Manager
Curtis Daley is Vantage NSW’s quiet powerhouse, an original team member whose story is woven into the business itself. A farm kid from in and around the Liverpool Plains, Curt grew up surrounded by cropping operations and heavy machinery.
His family were among the first in the district to install a Trimble GPS system, which Mick Casey personally sold to them during the NFS Ag days. From that first install, Curt’s journey has come full circle.
Since joining Vantage NSW at just 19, Curt has worked his way up from field tech to Operations Manager, bringing calm structure, field smarts, and systems thinking to every layer of the business.
He’s helped shape internal processes, stepped into scheduling and senior tech roles, and continues to lead service delivery with a strong focus on professionalism, safety, and integrity.
With a methodical approach to troubleshooting and a deep respect for the pressures customers face, Curt ensures Vantage NSW delivers not just technical solutions but reliability.
He’s passionate about learning every facet of the business and refuses to let challenges or change outpace his knowledge. Whether it’s new product rollouts, service optimisation, or team mentoring, Curt drives operational improvements that enable the business to run cleaner, smoother, and smarter.
Outside of work, Curt runs his own windrowing contracting business during the season, balancing the pressures of ag life with time spent with his young family. He brings the same focus and grit to both roles, proving that collaboration, innovation, and follow-through aren’t just values at Vantage NSW; they’re who Curt is.

James Davison

James Davison
Senior Field & Farm Technician
Qualifications: Double Degree in Agriculture & Business
James Davison brings boots-on-the-ground farming experience and a sharp understanding of ag systems to his role as Field & Farm Technician at Vantage NSW. After finishing school in 2011, James headed north to work on a million-acre cattle station west of Katherine, NT, flying between properties during muster season.
That early exposure to remote operations and big machinery set the tone for a decade-long journey through broadacre farming, cotton irrigation, and paddock-level problem-solving across Northern NSW.
With a double degree in Agriculture and Business from UNE Armidale and a formative exchange semester in the American Corn Belt, James developed a passion for observing how different landscapes, farming styles, and soil systems operate around the world.
His on-farm roles have ranged from machinery operation and irrigation to team coordination and farm management, giving him an inside-out understanding of what ag-tech users actually need.
Frustrated by the thankless grind of full-time farming, James reached out directly to Vantage NSW in 2022, seeking a role where his practical knowledge could have a broader impact. Now, he thrives on helping growers unlock the full value of their gear, ensuring that six-figure systems and million-dollar machines are dialled in, accurate, and delivering real ROI.
James’s strength lies in attention to detail, customer care, and field-based troubleshooting, all while staying grounded in integrity, collaboration, and the kind of professionalism that gets the job done right the first time.
Outside of work, James is a loyal mate, a big fan of catching up with friends made during his international travels, and someone who still lights up when talking about soil, yield, and systems that just work.
