Mark Middendorff brings a rare combination of global perspective, hands-on mechanical expertise, and lived experience as a Vantage NSW client.
Born and raised in Namibia, Mark grew up on a cattle station with heavy machinery always in sight, sparking an early passion for systems, repairs, and problem-solving. He completed his mechanical apprenticeship in material handling, working with forklifts and equipment before heading to Australia in 2014.
What was meant to be a backpacking adventure quickly turned into a life-changing move. After falling in love with the region and with Australian agriculture, Mark chose to stay, building a decade of experience across farming operations, machinery systems, and Trimble products.
Mark’s career has evolved alongside the ag-tech industry, and he’s embraced its rapid transformation. As a former client of Vantage NSW, he brings unique customer insight into how to improve service delivery, communication, and trust from the other side of the fence.
His approach is rooted in integrity, always keeping clients in the loop, even when a solution is still in progress and professionalism, taking a methodical, measured approach to solving real-world problems.
Now stepping into the role of Field & Farm Service Technician, Mark is excited to contribute to an organisation that reflects his values: safety, collaboration, innovation, and a clear drive for meaningful outcomes.
Whether he’s installing new tech, supporting rollouts, or testing upgrades, he brings a steady, solutions-focused mindset and a deep appreciation for the people who work the land.
Off the clock, Mark is a talented hobby photographer, avid outdoorsman, and committed family man currently building a home with his wife and young son.
He’s generously offered his photography skills to support Vantage NSW’s marketing and visual storytelling, yet another way he’s investing in the team and the brand.
